Mary Catherine Clark, 86, passed away November 20, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Amedisys Hospice, 9001 State Line Rd., KCMO 64114.

Mary Catherine was born to the late Marie and Maurice Greeley on July 25, 1935, in Kansas City, MO. She worked at Speas Vinegar before marrying Earl Clark in 1953. She also worked at Gilmore Drugstore and S.W. Nogles before quitting to babysit for everyone and to take care of the baby of the family Sarah. She later worked as a lunch lady at Nativity of Mary School with her sisters. They were often called the "Three Amigos". She was a member of the Altar Society for many years at Our Lady of Peace Church. Mary Catherine enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and was known throughout the neighborhood as the "Cake Lady". She also enjoyed cooking for family and loved to travel with Earl and her brothers and sisters. She had a fondness for Lake Viking and having family and friends there. Her humor and witty comebacks will be greatly missed.

Mary Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl Clark ; her sister Maureen Cooley, and brothers Jim Greeley, Larry Greeley, and Kenneth Greeley. Survivors include her nine children: Mike Clark and wife Robin of Kodiak, AK, Janet Martinez, Diane Crugar, Steve Clark, Jerry Clark and wife Rose, Gary Clark, Mary Ann Pyle and husband Alan, Amy Downey and husband Shane, Sarah Koontz and husband Philip; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister Pat Thomason; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Steve Clark, Jerry Clark, Gary Clark, Sam Clark, Lucas Clark, Mike Pyle, Philip Koontz, and Shane Downey.
