Mary Katherine Conforti, 78, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, at the Church, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery.

Mary K. was born August 23, 1937, in Kansas City, MO. She was a devout Catholic and active over the years at Holy Rosary Parish and at St. Mark's Parish where she began the tradition of the St. Joseph Table. She was twice awarded the Bishop's Recognition Award and was a member of the Cursillo Movement. She was also a promoter of St. Padre Pio. Mary K. was dearly loved by her husband and family. She was a special lady.

Mary K. was preceded in death by her parents, John and Angeline Mangiaracina; her parents-in-law, Anthony and Dorothy Conforti; and her infant son, Anthony Conforti. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Nick Conforti; her children, Diana Distasio (Anthony), John Conforti (Rosetta), and Nick Conforti (Kim); her grandchildren, JoLynn, Mary K, Nick Jr., Danielle, Johnny, and Nicole; great-granddaughter, Nina; sisters, Florence Mancuso and Loretta Masucci; brother-in-law, Tony Conforti; sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Romi (Harold), Kathy Linder (Mike); and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Tony Conforti, Michael Linder, Nick Conforti Jr., Johnny Conforti, Jimmy Mancuso Jr., Jimmy Mancuso.

Honorary Pallbearers: James Mancuso Sr., Anthony Zito, John Mancuso, Michael Mancuso, Jerry Jones, Ronnie Conforti.
