Mary (Demarco)
Toth
Sep 1, 1955 — Oct 3, 2021
Mary Margaret (DeMarco) Toth, 66, passed away unexpectedly October 3, 2021. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.
Mary was born on September 1, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, to Frank and Carolyn (Giacone) DeMarco. She was someone who loved her family and friends very much and they were always so important to her. She would give her last dollar, her last bite of food, it didn't matter. She always put others in front of herself. Mary was an avid lover of the penny slots and always "knew" when they would "hit". She'd stand over your shoulder to let you know you were doing it wrong, and she had her methods that typically worked for her.
For many years she worked at the Clay County Detention Center. She had to take early retirement in 2016 due to her health and missed working there very much. She made great friendships during her tenure there and cherished each of those.
Mary was one that people have described many times as a mother figure to them. She touched each person who crossed her path. She wasn't afraid to give her opinions or advice and always had made time for those she loved and had a shoulder to lean on if you needed one.
Mary is survived by her husband Frank Toth; mother Carolyn DeMarco; daughters Lisa Richmond (Jason) and Lindsay Boydston (Chris); her grandchildren, whom she adored, Austin Richmond, Charlie and Cody Boydston; sister Rosemary Seaton; and brother Frank DeMarco, Jr. (Annette). Also surviving are her step-children Steven and Melanie Toth and their children Preston, Bennett, and Hazel, Jennie and Eric Stewart and their children Hudson, Holly and Olivia Stewart and sister in law Mary Ann Toth.
Pallbearers: Jason Richmond, Chris Boydston, Austin Richmond, Frank DeMarco III, Tom DeMarco and Nick Seaton.
You can rest peacefully now but know that you will always be missed.
