Mary Ann (Matheson) Roebuck, 68, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 30, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Wayside Waifs or St. Luke's Hospice.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father, Hans F. Matheson; sister, Patricia Ann Matheson; and brother, Charles F. Matheson. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Paul R. Roebuck; her mother, Marian Matheson; brothers and sisters, Keith Matheson, Sandra Ross (Phil), Donna Brannen (Larry), Ronnie Matheson, David Matheson (Mary); sister-in-law, Susan Kirks; niece, Tracy Horton (Ron); brother-in-law, Donald Roebuck (Jean); stepchildren, Ronnie and Paula; her best friend for more than 30 years, Melody Reynolds; and her loyal and loving dogs, Starr and Pepper. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mary Ann worked as a legal secretary for many years. She and Paul enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed good restaurants. She was born and raised in Northeast Kansas City, MO, where she was active in trying to keep the old neighborhood as she loved and remembered. Her main goal was making sure she had a good influence on her family and friends.
