Mary Ann Mirabella, 85, passed away at her home on November 6, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

Mary Ann was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 7, 1937, to the late Thomas and Eva (Patania) Circo. She worked many years for Commerce Bank before retiring, but mostly she was a devoted single mother to her son Vito, her pride and joy. She was a respected and hard-working member of The American Daughters of Columbus where she served as President from 2008 until earlier this year. It was there that she helped with numerous fundraisers and events with her right-hand Gerri Quarrato and loved playing bocce for over 50 years. Mary Ann was also an active parishioner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, serving as Sergeant of Arms for the Altar Society, and baking cookies for the annual St. Joseph's Table.

Mary Ann is survived by her son Vito Mirabella; brother Richard Circo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings Joe, Lucille, Rose, Sam, Stino, and Fred.

A special thank you to Maryann Lagas and Rosalie George, her Islander neighbors, who helped care for her during her last days.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the Funeral Mass following at 3:00 p.m.
