Mary Jo (Polito) Cusumano, 59, a lifelong resident of Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 7, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64124, followed by burial in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mary Jo was born February 19, 1956, to Carl and Melchoria (Mendolia) Polito, who preceded her in death, and was a 1974 graduate of Northeast High School. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Parish and sang in the choir for over 20 years. She was energetic and the life of the party, always leaving others with a smile, but more importantly she was a devoted Mother and Nani to her children and grandchildren – who were the loves of her life.

Mary Jo is survived by her son, Mark Cusumano Sr., his wife Stephanie, and their children Carl, Sicily, Mary, and Mark Jr.; her son, Michael Cusumano, his wife Valerie, and their children Gianna and Damien; her son, Matthew, his wife Pasqua, and their daughter Giulianna; and numerous loving cousins and friends.
