Mary Jane Rose, 73, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at North Kansas City Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mary Jane was born June 8, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. She worked at The Deli in University Towers. She loved animals, gardening and going to garage sales, and loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian McGlothlin; her mother, Augustine Holland; and her grandmother, Rose Pinski.

Mary Jane is survived by her father, Gilbert Holland; her daughter, Brenda McGlothlin and partner Michelle Lawinsky; her extended family: the Heiser, Cook, Lawinsky, and Carlson families; and her grand-dog Bella.
