Mary Toth, 78, a lifelong resident of the Columbus Park District of Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at her home. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the funeral home, followed by inurnment with her husband in Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Mary was born March 22, 1935 to John and Salvatrice (Tidona) Battaglia. She dedicated her life to raising not only her children but other family members as well. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Edward Toth, in 2012; and her siblings, Isadore, Angeline, Sam and Congetta.

Survivors include her son, Frank J. Toth; daughter, Mary Ann Toth; grandchildren, Kasey, Kelley, Jennifer and Frank S.; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Margaret Toth; and many nieces and nephews.
