MaryAnn Glorioso, 64, Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 Lee's Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will begin with the Rosary at 2 p.m. and continue until 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark's Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in MaryAnn's name to the TNC Community for Morgan Group Home, 12404 E. U.S. Hwy 40, Independence, MO 64055.

MaryAnn was born May 17, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Frank and Catherine (Mancini) Glorioso. She was a member of St. Mark's Parish, and also enjoyed attending Sunday services with her "sorority sisters". She retired after 30 years of service at IBS Industries and was currently attending Rainbow Options Adult Daycare program. MaryAnn loved sitting in her rocking chairs and watching T.V. - especially I Love Lucy, Wheel of Fortune, and Lawrence Welk. Her favorite food was cheeseburgers and French fries. She loved spending time with family and friends and was always ready to go. MaryAnn enjoyed all of her "sorority sisters", the staff of Morgan Group Home, and her doctors. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Pat Glorioso, Victor Glorioso, Jerry and Teresa Glorioso; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Vince Pace; nephews and nieces, Dean and Susan Glorioso, Anthony Glorioso, Phillip Glorioso, Joe and Rosemary Glorioso, Carl Glorioso, JoLynn Glorioso, Vincent Glorioso, Matthew Pace, Michelle Pace, Natalie Pace; great-nephews and nieces, Nicholas Glorioso, Anna Marie Glorioso, Victor Joe Glorioso, Angelina Glorioso; aunts and uncles, Anna Piranio, Gloria and Kenneth Beard, Santo Glorioso, Mary Incaprera; and many cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be MaryAnn's nephews.
