Maurice Garcia Orozco, 76, passed away January 18, 2024.

Maurice was born February 1, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to the late Manuel and Victoria Orozco. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a cook. After his honorable discharge, he worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was very social and loved to dance.

Maurice is survived by Linda Precht, his longtime partner of 30 years; two brothers, Danny (Beverly) Orozco and Ricky Orozco; his three daughters, Michelle Soriano, Mauricia Walker, and Monya Seymore; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial with Military Honors will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
