Maxine Elizabeth Accurso, 85, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee's Summit, MO 64081, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Maxine was born April 10, 1929, in Kansas City, MO, to Thomas and Elizabeth (Mueller) Moffit. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who opened her heart and home to everyone.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Charlene Biglow; and her brother, Bob Moffit. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack A. Accurso; her sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Dottie Accurso, Jay and Karen Accurso, Roger and Katie Accurso, Craig and Lisa Accurso, Steve and Kim Accurso; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
