Maxine Marie Giambrone, 85, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Garden Terrace at Overland Park. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 6, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2 E. 75th St., Kansas City, MO 64114. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Maxine was born October 28, 1926 in Kansas City, MO. She was a former member of the American Daughters of Columbus, and was active with the Friendship Club at St. Elizabeth Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Jumbo" Giambrone.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Kathy Giambrone, Thomas and Patsy Giambrone, Michael and Nance Giambrone, Steven and Jacqueline Giambrone; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, George Maddux; sister-in-law, Florence Lusco; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
