Merlene R. Marcase (Marchese), 81, Blue Springs, MO, passed away September 6, 2012. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, 805 R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO 64015. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church prior to Mass.

Merlene is survived by her husband Sam (Simon Marchese) of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Terri Marcase, Rick and Candice Marcase, Thomas Marcase, Delores Ortiz Marcase; grandchildren, Theresa Marcase Meyer, Thomas Marcase, Malena Rose Marcase, Michael Marcase, Matthew Marcase; great-grandchildren, Ella Rose Meyer, Maria Grace Meyer, Hallie Marcase; sisters-in-law, Rose Balestrere, Vivian Marchese; several nieces and nephews; her aunt, Jane Fox, and several cousins in North Carolina; and her extended family and caregivers, David and Angie Maples.
