Michael J Lombardo, age 57, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on the 3rd of September, 2016, at Kansas City Hospice House from cancer. Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. with a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or the Humane Society.
Michael was born on October 14, 1958 in Kansas City, MO. He was co-owner of Advanced Mudjacking and was a bartender at many bars in the Waldo area. Michael attended Rockhurst High School where he was a member of the Football All Time Team. He attended KU his freshman year and went on to graduate from Washburn University in Topeka. Michael was devoted to his mother and a wonderful brother to his sister. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He loved to cook and his meatballs are famous to all who knew him.
Michael was preceded in death by his father and mother Joseph and Emagene; his brother Butch; and nephews. He is survived by his sister Dorothy "Dottie" Bragg; nephews Veto, Joseph, Marc, and Tony; his nieces Beth, Maria, and Theresa; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
