Michael Robert "Mike" Malloy, 76, through the Glory of God and the accompaniment of the angels, has achieved his eternal reward, his home in Heaven, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Mike was born on October 4, 1943 to Donald and Eva Malloy. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1961 and enjoyed competition roller skating which took him to many cities throughout the United States as competed. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Music was a huge part of Mike's life. He gave his time, talent and treasure by playing the organ for over 60 years at Assumption / St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was a deeply devoted and religious man who loved and believed in God with his whole heart, mind and soul. He had a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and was seldom seen without a rosary in his hand. Mike also worked at UMB Bank for over 20 years until his retirement in January of 2010. Mike loved animals and rescued three boxer terriers. All of them are waiting to greet him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister. He leaves behind many friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 16, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton, Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to St. Anthony Parish.
