Mickey "Granny" McNurlin passed away March 30, 2026, surrounded by love, leaving behind a family who will forever carry her spirit with them.

Granny was more than a mother, sister, and grandmother—she was the heart of her family. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. Whether it was through long conversations, shared laughter, or simply her presence, she created a bond with those around her that can never be replaced.

She was known for her sharp sense of humor and the kind of wit that could light up any room. Granny had a way of making people laugh when they needed it most, often without even trying. Along with that humor came a strong will—she was beautifully stubborn, a trait she lovingly passed down to her children and grandchildren. It's a part of her that will live on in all of us.

A devoted and die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, Granny rarely missed a chance to cheer on her team. Her passion, loyalty, and spirit showed in everything she loved.

She is survived by her children, Mickey, Terri, Bridget, Chrissy, Robin, and Tammy, as well as her beloved brother, Barry, all of whom she loved deeply. She also leaves behind grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many loved ones who will continue to honor her memory.

Granny's love was constant, her presence unforgettable, and her impact immeasurable. Though she may no longer be with us physically, her voice, her laughter, and her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Granny's life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her.
