Mildred Theresa Kane Locascio of Kansas City North passed away October 3, 2011 at NorthCare Hospice House. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 7, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 6, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Donations in the name of Mildred may be made to NorthCare Hospice House.

Mildred was born July 8, 1926 in Kansas City, MO, and has been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Manual High School in 1944. She retired from TWA after 40 years of service, and also retired from Hallmark after 19 years of service.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Locascio; parents, Martin and Mary Ellen Mulvey Kane; three brothers, John L. Kane, Joseph J. Kane, Martin L. Kane; and five sisters Jo Ann Kane Fox, M. Kathryn Kane Nickles, Dorothy Kane, Marlene Aileen Kane, and Helen Kane Raimos.

Survivors include two extended family daughters, Janine Leone and Ann Bogaert; very special nieces and nephews; and a host of grand nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Tyler Howard, Robert Fox, Bill Moran, Dean Call, Larry Nickles, Gary Bob Lewis.

Special thanks to family and friends, the nurses and doctors from North Kansas City Hospital and NorthCare Hospice House for the good care of Mildred. Also special thanks for the love and great care given by her family "guardian angels". Mildred loved life, the Chiefs, and made friends wherever she went. All will miss her dearly.
