Obituary

Nadine Cacioppo, 88, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required for the services. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be live streamed from the St. Patrick Parish YouTube site . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or any organization of your choice.

Nadine loved to cook and bake, much to the delight of her family and friends, who got to enjoy everything she made. Sunday dinners at her house were a special treat. She collected cookbooks and recipes and would spend hours browsing through them. She loved sharing her favorite recipes with everyone she knew. In her younger years, she loved to travel, and especially liked going to Branson where she would fill every minute of every day there seeing shows, shopping and eating out. She enjoyed her career doing payroll for several prominent companies in Kansas City and retired from her favorite job at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Juanita (Belgiere) Montalto, her brother Mike Montalto, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Margie and Tim Williams, son Dominic Cacioppo, brother Gus Montalto, Jr., as well as her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that she loved so very much.

The family would like to thank the staff at Primrose Retirement Community, Northland Rehabilitation and Health Care, and Amedisys Hospice, especially Lisa and Beth who took such loving care of Nadine and were so supportive to their family. They are truly angels here on earth.
