Nancy Kay (Marchese) Gurera, 90, Blue Springs, MO., passed away Tuesday May 22, 2012. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Passantino Bros Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 25 at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, 805 NW R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO; Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Nancy was born February 2, 1922 to Tony & Daisy Marchese. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Joe G." Gurera, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Gurera.

Nancy leaves her four children and their spouses, Carl and Mary Ann Gurera, Nino and Phyllis Gurera, Becky and John Malicoat, John and Sherre Gurera; twenty two grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Marlene Marcase; sister, Rose Balestere; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Vivian Marchese, Carl and Mary Gurera, and Barbara Raniolo.
