Nancy Rae Spencer - February 5, 1967 to February 12, 2014. Beloved daughter, sister and aunt.

Nancy was the youngest of six children. Never having had children she poured all of that love into her relationships with her nieces and nephews.

They all have wonderful memories of the times they had with her; probably a few of little skirmishes as well. The kids mostly thought of her as a peer and so the interaction and relationships was that of siblings.

In a tribute written by Michele, she wrote; "She was our grandma's sidekick for almost her entire life. For many reasons she didn't live a life quite like the rest of us. I can remember so many times when after hanging out with her as an adult, the time ending with me feeling just really happy and at peace. Her goodness was contagious."

She taught her nieces and nephews many things that an older sister would. She has been lovingly described as "mix of childlike innocence and that of an old lady". It's a very accurate description.

She and her sisters, Linda Olsen and Julee Reinsch bonded as adult sisters when they took a trip to Colorado to place their mother's ashes at Bear Lake, Estes Park, CO where their mother had said that she'd felt closer to God than any other place.

It was a wonderful trip and brought back many memories of the vacations in Colorado that they shared in times past. Linda and Julee are very grateful to have had that time with Nancy.

Nancy won her battle with cancer in 2001. The family has many loving memories but they're bitter sweet as Nancy's life was too short and the loss is felt more strongly because of it.

They take comfort in knowing that Nancy is in the loving hands of her Mother, Father and her beloved siblings, Robert Michael and Ramona "Tracy".

Her ashes will be taken to Bear Lake to be with her mother with whom she spent most of her life.

A private life memorial will be held with family and close friends.
