Nancy Jo Spero Bruscato, 68, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 6, 1957, in Kansas City, Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Jo Serrone and Nick Louis Spero. Nancy cherished her role as a loving sister and best friend to JoMarie Pace (Anthony), Theresa Ann Spero, and Antoinette Spero. Nancy also had an abundance of love for her nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a proud mother of two amazing children, Krisa Spero and Charles V. Bruscato, and an especially dedicated grandmother who deeply cherished her granddaughter. She supported her granddaughter's Catholic education at Saint Gabriel's and Saint Pius X High School, nurturing a close and lasting bond.

Nancy was a devoted Catholic and spent much of her time in spiritual devotion at Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church. She enriched her community with her volunteer work at Angel's Attic Thrift Store alongside her daughter, and she shared her love for animals by volunteering at NAWS spay and neuter clinic with her granddaughter.

In memory of Nancy, let us remember her generous heart and loving presence. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion, encouraging us to stay close, keep smiling, and enjoy good food together. She is forever in our hearts, watching over us always.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
