Nicholas Todd Grazier, 47, of Kansas City, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home.

Nick is survived by the love of his life, Elisa Wurth; sister, Brenda (Forrest) Schreier; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Melissa), Katie, Caleb, Kylee, Grace, Jo and Jesse; uncle, Frank (Mary) Hicks; and many cousins and wonderful friends. Nick was preceded in death by his mom and best friend, Naomi Grazier; infant sister, Regina; dad, Cecil Bayless; grandma, Ernalea Bayless; aunts, Nancy (Jimmy) Willis and Julia (Dean) Edison; friend, who was like a brother, David Thomas; and beloved fur baby, Fred.

Nick was born on April 25, 1976, in Independence, Missouri. He attended Englewood Christian School for many years and graduated from William Chrisman High School. Nick worked in management at both Musician's Friend and Converse, where he made many lifelong friends.

Nick was laid back and easy-going, he was kind and honest and had a huge heart. He enjoyed life to its fullest and he truly treasured the memories he made with family and friends along the way. Nick considered his friends his family, once you were in his heart, you were there to stay. Music was his passion, not only listening but performing. Having love in music only projected the amount of light that warmed his soul. A man who carried his passion from his fingertips on to a fretboard.

Nick will be greatly missed but he would want those who loved him to remember the good times and keep making memories.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 29, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. The family kindly requests no flowers.
