Nickolas C. Kovach's Obituary
Nickolas C. Kovach, 81, passed away May 15, 2016. A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119, followed by a 1:30 p.m. inurnment at Leavenworth, KS National Cemetery.
Nickolas was born January 20, 1935, in Yugoslavia and came to the U.S. at the age of three with his parents and nine brothers. He retired from a successful 32 year career with Interstate Bakeries as vice-president / director of manufacturing.
Nickolas is survived by his wife, Carmella Carullo-Kovach; his children, Brandon Kovach (Laura), and Krista Hindsley (Tom); stepdaughter, Debi Anzalone (Vince); and his grandchildren, Carter Kovach, Luke and Jessie Hindsley, Anthony, Angela and Katie Anzalone.
