Norma Jean Taibi's Obituary
Norma Jean Taibi, 83, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. Burial is private at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the
Bright Futures Fund
of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph for a scholarship to be established in Norma's name.
Norma was born September 28, 1933, in Kansas City, MO, to Floyd and Mabel Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Carl Taibi; and her siblings, Florence McDonald and Raymond Cox.
Survivors include her children, Vici Taibi, Victor Calo Taibi (Becky), Gina Hillman (Mark), Cara Taibi, Charla Lee (Lanny); her grandchildren, Tony Sosa, Victor Charles Taibi, Cirissa Taibi, Leticia DeVaughn (Nigel), Cassandra Lee, Jacob Lee; great-grandson, Ayrton DeVaughn; sister, Donna Potts; sister-in-law, Mary Pavarini (George); and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of NorthCare Hospice for the care given to Norma.
