Paige Maureen Sevart, 34, passed away July 2, 2012. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 3736 Lee's Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Paige was born July 8, 1977 and attended St. Stephen's and Our Lady of the Americas grade schools and East and St. Mary's high schools. She was creative, kind and quick witted and was a passionate dreamer whose fire was fanned by any idea or project she was planning. She possessed a servant's heart. Her selflessness was best exemplified by the care she provided for her sister Erin, in spite of her own health issues. She was a peacemaker and bravely defended those who couldn't defend themselves. She loved animals and was often teased as being the reincarnation of St. Francis. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved all things Irish. Paige could energize any room she entered and, true to her Irish heritage, always had a story to tell. Anyone who met her was drawn to her. We can't imagine life without her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Sevart; and sister, Erin (Sevart) Brock. She is survived by her parents, Jim and Cecilia Sevart; brothers John, Shannon, and Ryan Sevart; four nieces, five nephews, one great-niece, three great-nephews; and a host of interesting, unique and wonderful friends. Her dogs were her children.

True to her giving nature, Paige was an organ donor whose final gift has improved the lives of countless others.
