Patience Ann Connon, of Kansas City, Missouri went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 9, 2021, at the age of 68. Patience was the daughter of the late Barbara Ann and Charles Connon, born on April 21,1953. She is survived by her husband Michael Solak and her children Tara Bongo (husband Mike), Harrisburg, PA, John Tennant, Kansas City, MO, Katherine Wells (husband Lonnie), Gladstone, MO, and Jeff Tennant, Gap, PA. Patience is also survived by her grandchildren Anthony Bongo, Deyton Brown, Nathan Bongo, Cole Wells, Bentlee Wells, Michael Tennant, and Jeffrey Tennant; sisters Catherine Degazelle (husband Bob) Yorklyn, DE, Nanette Willgruber (husband Rick) King of Prussia, PA, Bridget Sneddon, Florence, AZ, Kelly Sundberg (husband Mark) Bellingham WA, Kerry Patrick (husband Tom) Rising Sun, MD, Kimbery Stout, Bellingham WA; brothers, Leonard Connon (wife Lisa) Olympia, WA, and David Connon (wife Louisa) West Chester, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Patience was born in Springfield, PA and graduated from Unionville High School in 1971. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Patience worked for the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph as a housekeeper for thirteen years. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. Patience never met a stranger and had a servant's heart. She loved being outdoors, and enjoyed gardening, hiking. She was happiest spending time with her family.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, KCMO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at lls.org .
