Paul Ronald Roebuck, 74, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 after a long hard fought battle with lung cancer. His niece (Tracy Horton) and his great-niece (Megan Moore) were by his side at the time.

Paul was born on March 12, 1946 to Stanley and Marion Roebuck of Macon, MO. He graduated from Macon high school class of 1964 and served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969 with a tour in Vietnam. Paul loved his dog Starr and will miss his neighborhood and his city, he was a big Kansas City Chiefs and Kanas City Royals Fan, and went to as many events as he could with his family and friends. One of his second homes was Taqueria Mexico II Restaurant and he celebrated many birthdays there with family and friends. He enjoyed working at the Penntower Office Building in downtown Kansas City for the past 34 years, where his many co-workers and building tenants will miss him.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 31 years Mary Ann Roebuck, father Stanley Roebuck, mother Marion Roebuck and brother Calvin Roebuck. Paul is survived by son, Ron Roebuck of Newport News, VA.; daughter, Paula Jeffries (Jody) of Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda Jeffries of Portsmouth, VA.; brother, Donald Roebuck (Jean) of Macon, Mo.; sister, Susan Kirks of Grain Valley, Mo.; Sister-In-Law, Lydia Roebuck of Columbia, Mo.; nieces Julie Rudkin (Troy) of Macon, MO and Tracy Horton (Ron) of Independence, MO; nephews Gary Roebuck (Nita) of Peculiar, MO and Jim Roebuck (Jaynne) of Springfield, MO; and many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Paul will be placed in internment beside his wife Mary Ann at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Due to recent events, a small private ceremony for family and friends will be held at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you consider donating in memory of Paul to American Lung Cancer Association (action.lung.org) or Wayside Waifs animal protection organization no kill shelter (waysidewaifs.org)
