Peter Costanzo, Jr., 71, passed away November 7, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 13, Northland Baptist Church, 7101 NW Waukomis Dr., Kansas City, MO 64151. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association ; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation ; or the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City .

Peter was born February 27,1946, and was a lifelong resident of Kansas City and an avid KC sports fan. He graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1964, served in the Air Force Reserves, attended five years of pipe fitters school, and worked as a union pipe fitter for 28 years before retiring in 2001. He enjoyed fishing, reading, classic movies, and visiting with friends. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren!

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carol Harris-Costanzo; sons, Carl (Janet), and Peter III (Katie); grandchildren, Vincent, Frank, Ann, and Luca Costanzo; brother, John Costanzo (Connie); sister in law, Gloria Costanzo; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
