Phyllis Davis, 94, Kansas City, MO, was taken home to be with God and her husband on May 9, 2013. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Richard Davis; her husband of 35 years, Raymond Davis; her mother and father, Josephine and Jasper Parrino; and her brothers, Tom, Phil and Joe Parrino. She is survived by two sons, Bob Davis and wife Sharon, Gary Davis and wife Laurie; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Phyllis and her husband owned a mom and pop grocery store at 14th & Summit for 25 years. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren. The last months of her life were spent at Little Sisters of the Poor under the care of the devoted Sisters and lay personnel. The family wishes to thank the staff at Little Sisters for their loving care.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 13, at Little Sisters of the Poor, 8745 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138, where a Mass of Remembrance will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
