Prudence Josephine (Badale) Thyne, 97, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by her godson, Rev. Joseph Cisetti, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Prudence was born March 10, 1920, in Kansas City, MO, to the Augustino and Grace (Lanasa) Badale. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish.

Prudence was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John A. Thyne, in 2010; her parents; and her brothers, Gus Badale and Ross Badale. Survivors include her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Josephine Badale, Mary and Lavern Koch; nieces and nephews, Gary Badale, Cheryl Badale and Pat Sullivan, Rozann and Bill Dallenbach, Linda and Tim Mathews; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends, and godchildren.
