Ralph Barreca, 91, of Kansas City, MO died Monday, March 19, 2018. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 23, at Mount Olivet Mausoleum, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64138, where the Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. followed by entombment. Please omit flowers.

Ralph was born October 10, 1926, in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Manual High School, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in Germany. He retired from General Motors and owned Barreca's, Inc. for 23 years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, and a lifetime member of the American Sons of Columbus. Ralph loved to travel with his wife Marge and cherished his time with friends and extended family. Although he will be sadly missed, joyful memories will live in the hearts of the many who loved him so dearly.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Marge (Francoviglia) Barreca, in 2008; his parents, Tony and Rose (Perfelice) Barreca; brother, Carl Barreca; and sisters, Josephine Barreca, Maggie Scardino, and Margaret Monaco.

Survivors include his children, Ralph Barreca Jr. (Susan); Linda O'Sullivan (Mickey); Michael Barreca (Leah); grandchildren, Anthony Barreca (Courtney), Kara DiSalvo (John), Michelle DeMartino (TJ), Michael Barreca, Jr. and Jack Barreca; great-grandsons; and numerous dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
