Raymond "Cowboy" Jones, 77, died May 4, 2018. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64127.
Cowboy was a member of the Kansas City Jazz Musicians Hall of Fame, the Kansas City Blues Society, and was recognized as an 'Elder Statesman of Kansas City Jazz' by the Mutual Musicians Foundation.
