Richard Dale Livingston, Sr., 90, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, and is now at peace. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the Funeral Home, followed by burial at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Richard was born in Lee's Summit, Missouri to Harley and Lena Livingston who preceded him in death.  Richard was also preceded in death by his brothers Harley, Don, Bob, Jim, and Eddy, and sisters Betty, Martha, and JoAnn. Richard is survived by his wife of 70 years, Blanche Livingston; his children, Richard "Rick" Livingston, Jr. (Lori), Michael Livingston (Annie); his grandchildren, Claire O'Bright (Jim), Matthew Livingston (Kathleen), Jay Livingston (Bria), and Nicholas Livingston (Sammie); his brother, Harry Livingston (Marilyn); and his sisters, Jesse and Sharon.

Richard was a veteran and served as a corporal in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in various areas including California and Alaska. He started his career in the grocery business at Uncle Charlies Market and remained in this industry for over 60 years. He was extremely hard working and dedicated in all facets of his life.

Richard will be remembered as a kind, gentle and loving person. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was soft spoken and was happiest spending time with his family. He and Blanche would spend endless hours attending their kids and grandkids activities and sporting events without fail. His grandsons would lovingly refer to him "Big PaPa Rich". He also loved spending time at the lake and would take advantage of every free moment there to fish. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races. He will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.
