Robert W. Ciarlelli of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Friday, February, 20, 2015, in his home, succumbing to lung cancer after a brave fight. He was 68 years-old.

Born in Kansas City's North End in 1946, it didn't take Robert long to find the love of his life. He met and started dating his wife of 47 years, Tina, when they were just 12 years-old. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop 70 and member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He graduated from De LaSalle High School, where he was a member of the golf team, and Rockhurst University. In 1970, he began his career at DST in Kansas City and retired in 2008 as an Executive Vice President to become a full-time Papa to his four adoring grandchildren who were the light of his life. Robert was an avid golfer, card player and charter member of the famous Dog Pack of Hillcrest Country Club. He was also a board member of Holy Rosary Credit Union and Simone-Fontana Foundation. He will be remembered for his charisma, charm, humor, quick wit, good nature, integrity, generosity and dimples. But above all he was a family man and friend in the truest sense of the words.

Robert is happy to be reunited in Heaven with his father and mother, Jimmy and Josephine Ciarlelli; his brother, Jimmy Ciarlelli Jr.; and his niece, Dominica George. While there, he will be assigned as chief guardian angel to his wife, Tina; his daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Ryan Marshall, Roseanne and Chris Corley; grandchildren, Benjamin (his numero uno) and Robert (his name-sake) Marshall, Sophia (his baby girl) and Dominic (his charismatic baby) Corley; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Brian Sandridge; mother-in-law, Rosalie George; aunt, Mary Rose Hemingway; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Santa Maria and Louis Nigro Jr., Michael and Anna George; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends who love him dearly.

The Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. followed by Visitation from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, at Holy Rosary Church, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Children's Mercy Hospital Oncology Department .
