Robert Gerard Schneider, 66, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, surrounded by his family. Rob was born to Karl and Mary Suzanne Schneider on July 19, 1957, in Kansas City, MO. The eldest of seven children, Rob will be dearly missed.

Rob grew up in Oakview, MO, and attended St. Charles Borromeo School, Antioch Middle School, and Oak Park High School. Rob was an avid sports fan, ever knowledgeable about the Royals, Chiefs, Comets, Wizards, Sporting KC and NASCAR. He was a Royals season ticket holder and quite the baseball pitcher himself in Cub Scouts. "Uncle Robbie" was known for his quick wit and ferocity in UNO, Yahtzee, Chess, and Checkers that he played with his nieces and nephews. Leo's pizza parties and summer evenings spent in the backyard with charcoal grilled hot dogs are treasured memories with Rob as well as his friendship with his beloved dog, Sabrina.

Rob is survived by his six siblings, Steve (Elizabeth), Dan (Coleen), Suzanne Reichert (Dave), Kathleen Ralph (Billy), Carolyn Ross (Chris), and Jennifer, along with 17 nieces and nephews, and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Mary Suzanne, his infant nephew Nathan Schneider, and his infant niece Jessica Ralph.

Services will be held on Friday, August 18, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
