Rodger William Kappler, 71, of Independence, MO, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 1, 2016.

Rodger, a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam, enjoyed a long and prosperous career tightly connected to his only real passion outside his family and friends – the automobile! His passing is a great loss to all who knew him. He is survived by sisters, Paula McDonald of Las Vegas, NV, Carmen McCullough of Neosho, MO; and brothers, Daniel Kappler of Gladstone, MO, and Brian Kappler of Independence, MO, and their respective families.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date when family and friends can join to celebrate Rodger's life.
