Ronald E. Venable 78, passed away September 22, 2021, at his home. The Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. followed by Visitation at 2 p.m., Eulogy at 4:30 p.m., and the Funeral Mass at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 27, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Cremation will follow the services.
Ron was born September 19, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri to George and Edith Venable. He married the love of his life Linda (Fiorello) Venable forty years ago, blending their two beautiful families together as one. They had six beautiful children, Richard, Rhonda, Gina, Ross, Raymond, Patricia, and many more they raised as their own. They had sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Ron loved being surrounded by his family who he was so proud of and loved with all his heart.
Ron was a body repair man his whole life, owning body shops in Kansas and Missouri. Anyone who knew Ronnie, knew he didn't know a stranger. Ron's wit and funny jokes always touched everyone he encountered. Ron and Linda loved to travel and spend time with their adoring family. Ron loved his Chiefs and Royals, also any football game he could watch. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Men's Holy Name Society, a former member of UNICO, the Knights of Columbus, Ararat Shrine (as a clown), and the Masonic Lodge. If you crossed paths with Ronnie, you had a friend for life.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents George and Edith Venable; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ross and Connie Fiorello; brothers-in-law Ernie Haynes, Pete Donnici, Richard Dowd; grandson-in-law Brian Tucker; and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Fiorello) Venable; brother Galen (Susie); sons Richard (Deanna), Ross (Haylee), and Raymond; daughters Gina (David), Rhonda (Chris), and Tricia (Brian); sisters-in-law Mary Ann Haynes, Patricia Dowd, Kathy Fiorello (Duck); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Pallbearers: Bradley Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Ryan Venable, Nicholas Hertzog, Anthony Palmerin, and Aaron Rustici.
Honorary Pallbearers: Galen Venable, Richard Venable, Ross Palmerin, Raymond Palmerin, Ryan Venable, Lucas Venable, Silas Tucker, Tuttie Nelson, Robert Ellis, Chad Huffman, Jim Finken, Jack Giangalanti, and Richard Circo.
