Rosalie Cecilia Mussorici passed away February 14, 2025.

Rosalie was born on January 31, 1922, to Sam and Minnie Moley (LaBoi) in Kansas City's  North End neighborhood. She attended Karnes School and Manual High School.

Rosalie married Vince Mussorici on October 2, 1946, and together they raised two sons in Kansas City's old Northeast neighborhood, where they lived from 1955 to the 1990s. She often reminisced about life on 6th Street and cherished memories with Virginia Beck, Kitty Fiorello, Josephine Pernice, and Susan Braile. Deeply connected to the Northeast community, she enjoyed socializing at the American Sons and Daughters of Columbus, attending services at St. John's and Holy Rosary Catholic Churches, and simply chatting with friends and neighbors on her front porch.

Rosalie's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. She recently celebrated her 103rd birthday with those she loved.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 64 years, Vince; her sister and brother-in-law, Carmaline and Sal Abbott; her brother and sister-in-law, Ross and Theresa Moley; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Virginia and Tony Caracci; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Josephine Mussorici.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Janelle) Mussorici and Sam (Diane) Mussorici; grandchildren Vincent (Toni) Mussorici, Chuck Jr. (fiancée Ashley Galetti) Mussorici, Rosemarie (Luke) Lunt, Alexandra (William) Coleman, Jack Mussorici, and Gia Mussorici; great-grandchildren Andrea (fiancé Anthony Gurera) Mussorici, Antoinette Mussorici, Charlie Mussorici, Sofia Mussorici, Vincie Mussorici, Louie Lunt, Leo Lunt, and Nicolas Coleman.

The family would also like to recognize Maggie Clabough, Patrice Pitts, Dr. John Campobasso, and Dr. Steve Cicero for their excellent care and support.

Services will be held on Monday, February 24, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Rosary at 11:45 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
