Obituary

Rosanne (Failoni) Willcott, age 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at North Kansas City Hospital after a short illness.  The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117.  Visitation will follow until 11 a.m. when the Mass of Christian Burial begins. Private Inurnment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or the charity of your choice.
A lifelong resident of Kansas City, Rosanne was born August 17, 1960, and graduated from St. Pius X High School. Rosanne worked as an executive assistant for RED Development, Highwoods Properties and retired from Helzberg Diamonds in 2015. Her skills and proficiency contributed to the success of many projects. Her dedication and support was instrumental in the achievements of those around her. Throughout her career, she found time to help in the family business, Leo's Pizza, carrying on the tradition of making homemade meatballs and other family recipes.
Along with her husband, she was an active member of St. Gabriel's Church participating in various ministries and always helping others. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and taking care of her two youngest grandchildren.
Rosanne was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leo J. and Anna Marie Failoni. She is survived by her loving husband Ron ; four children, Anthony Accurso, Leo Accurso (Ashley), Louis Accurso, and Annamarie Leeper (Aaron); and three grandchildren, Tyler Accurso, Sophie and Benjamin Leeper - they will miss their "Momo." She is also survived by one brother, Joe Failoni; and three nephews, Leo and Alex Failoni, and Tyler Pastena. Additionally, she leaves her mother-in-law, Annabel Willcott; two sisters-in-law, Della Willcott, and Sr. Amy Willcott, SCL, all of Leavenworth, KS; and was blessed with many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers at North Kansas City Hospital.
