Rose is survived by her daughter, Diana; her grandson, Nicholas, who was her morning, noon and night; great-granddaughter, Layla Baker; great-grandsons, Nicco and Rocco Holmes-Cerniglia; very special adopted daughter, Mary McGrath; sister, Esther McMurray; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Karl E. Rose waited for Sam to come home from Korea and they married in 1953. She worked as a switchboard operator for numerous companies and was a food and housewares demonstrator. Rose enjoyed traveling, Italy, Hawaii, and Las Vegas were her "hotspots". She loved to cook, bake, and entertain, and loved music but "couldn't carry a tune in a bucket." Family was everything to her. Rose will be missed so very much. Part of our hearts will be going with her.
