Rose Marie Robarge, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on May 12, 2023.

Rose was born on May 27, 1929, in Topeka, Kansas to George and Anna Marie (Stadler) Desch. She attended Sacred Heart School and Hayden High School. Rose worked at Metropolitan Life and at Sacred Heart School. Rose married John C. Robarge on October 9, 1954. Rose was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Topeka for over 70 years and a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Kansas City for the last 22 years.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, John Robarge , her father and mother George and Anna Marie Desch, her sisters Helen (Sr. Ruth Anne SCL) Desch, Florence (Sr. George Anne SCL) Desch, and Ruth Desch, and her brothers Phillip Desch and George Desch.

Rose is survived by her daughter Ruth Robarge (Barbara), her son John Robarge (Natasha) and her daughter Mary Privitera (Carl), grandchildren Alissa Howell (Andrew) and Isabella Privitera, and great-grandchildren Mitchell and Preston Howell.

Special thanks to Catholic Community Hospice, In-Home Care Services, her caring friend C.J., her special angel Sr. Anita, and her loving nieces "the Desch girls" who always looked out for their Aunt Rose.
