Rose Marie Tarantola, 65, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 27, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Rose Marie was born October 4, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, to Phillip and Mildred Fern Catalano. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph J. Tarantola, in 2015; and sisters, Phyllis Catalano and Rosalee Catalano Carnes.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Tarantola (Corina); grandchildren, Joseph, Angelina, and Phillip Tarantola; and sisters-in-law, JoMarie DeFeo Everhart and Millie Turney.
