Rosemary L. Schmidt's Obituary
Rosemary L. Schmidt, 90, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. Visitation will be 10 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 30, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Zoo.
Rosemary was born May 27, 1926, in Kansas City, MO, to Adam and Amelia Rose Korzinowski. She was a loving and kind wife, mother and friend whose home was a gathering place for neighborhood kids. Rosie cherished all animals and she loved to polka! She was a member of Christ the King Parish for over 60 years.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley G. Schmidt, in 1999; her brothers, Frank and John Korzinowski; and her sister, Helen Rieke. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dianne Schmidt; numerous nieces and nephews; and Miss Kitty.
