Ryan was born on March 1, 1989, to Gordon and Debbie Harris of Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in 2007. Joining the Navy and being a diver was a lifelong dream of his.

Ryan married his high school sweetheart, Deanna (Favoroso) Harris, and they have two daughters, Sophia Rose (3) and Aubrie Mae (1) whom he adored. In addition to his wife and parents, he will be missed by his family: brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Kendra Harris of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandparents, Donald and Sue Stark of Carrollton, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Rosella Favoroso; brother-in-law, Joe Mike Favoroso; grandparents-in-law, Joe and Augustine Accurso; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and deep sea brothers.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, from 3-8 p.m. at Vineyard Church, 12300 NW Arrowhead Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64165. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 9:30 a.m. at Vineyard Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Ryan Harris Memorial , a trust fund for his daughters Sophia and Aubrie.
