Salvatore Donze, 91, Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at his home. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Salvatore was born April 16, 1923, in Camporeale, Sicily, and came to Kansas City in 1966 with his wife and four children. He worked for Bel Art Co. for 25 years and owned several pieces of real estate. He was a devout catholic and a member of St. Anthony Parish where he loved to bake for the annual St. Joseph Table. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden and cooking.

Salvatore was preceded in death by his parents, Vincenzo and Fina (Orlando) Donze; his wife, Vita (Restivo) Donze, in 1997; his son, Angelo Gabriel Donze, in 1998; brother, Angelo Donze; and sisters, Antonina DiMaggio, Fina Donze and Sara Cascone.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Kristnel Donze; daughters and sons-in-law, Fina and Tony Scire, Sandra and Antonino Liotta; grandchildren, Donnisha Boney, Angela and Sonny Donze, Benny, Salvatore, Anna and Vita Scire, Lilla Adkins, Raimondo Liotta; great-grandchildren, Sareana, Samantha and Joshua Boney, Cierra Freeman, Sicilia and Dominic Donze, Henry Haygood, Brilynn, Santina and Kinsley Liotta; brothers and sister, Paul Donze, Enzo Donze and wife Franca, Sandra Caravella and husband Anthony; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Salvatore Cascone, Angelo Restivo and wife Maria, Rosetta Tordini, Matilda Donze and Tosca Mazzarese; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
