Salvatore Vazzano's Obituary
Salvatore D. Vazzano, 78, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be 10 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the

Sal was born November 23, 1939, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Marion and Mary (Mesh) Vazzano. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired from the Kansas City, MO Fire Department after 34 years of service. He was also Scout Master for Troop 70 from 1964 to 1969.
Sal is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Glenna Vazzano; his children and their spouses, Mario and Melissa Vazzano, Charlene and Paul Mancuso, Sallie and Dr. Thomas LaBruzzo; and his grandchildren, Adrianne, John, and Salvatore.
The family offers a special thank you to the staff of Kansas City Hospice (especially Patty) and Joe Mike Mesh for the special care given to Sal.
