Salvatore Vigliaturo, 65, of Clinton, Illinois, passed away on October 26, 2025. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 14, 1959, Sal was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Kay Vigliaturo, his brother Joe Vigliaturo, and his brother-in-law Chris Morgan.

He is survived by his two daughters Samantha Vigliaturo and Angelica Vigliaturo; his stepson Javier and wife Brittany; twelve grandchildren; and his siblings Mary Kay Jones (Mark), Prudy Malaponte (Eddie), Judy Vigliaturo-Morgan, and Frank Vigliaturo, all of whom he loved deeply.

A 1978 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Sal discovered his love for performance early, appearing in numerous school plays and finding a place in theater. His creativity shone throughout his life—whether he was building intricate model airplanes out of Coca-Cola cans or crafting dazzling holiday displays that brought joy to everyone around him.

Sal was also mechanically inclined. He loved technology, tinkering, and fixing anything he could get his hands on. Above all, he was a devoted father who raised his two daughters largely on his own, giving them a childhood defined by love, humor, and steadfast support.

His strength was extraordinary. Surviving a brain tumor in 1993 and colon cancer in 2003, Sal faced every hardship with courage and determination. His will to live and love was unmistakable, and anyone who stood in his light knew him as a funny, warm, and deeply loving soul.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home in Kansas City, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
