Salvatore Joseph "Sam" Risalvato, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025, following years of declining health.

Sam was born May 28, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Joseph and Florence (Trombino) Risalvato. The family moved back to Kansas City in 1961, where Sam would reside for the rest of his life. He was a 1978 graduate of Northeast High School. In 1980, Sam enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served four years. Upon returning home, he began his career as a delivery man for Excel Linen where he would work until health issues forced him to retire. Sam was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan and especially enjoyed time with his family gathered around the table for Sunday dinners.

Along with his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his sisters Gerry, Loretta and Cecilia. He is survived by his brother John Risalvato (Patti), and sister Kathy Gimmarro (Paul), along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

Sam was a likable person who will be missed by all.
