Sandra Caravella, 74, of Kansas City, MO, passed away September 1, 2015, with her loving family by her side.

Sandra was born January 15, 1941, in Camporeale, Sicily, to Vincent and Fina Donze. She worked as a seamstress for 58 years before retiring. Sandra loved spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, sewing, and going to the casino. She was a strong, loving, and passionate woman who always welcomed everyone into her home and put everyone before herself.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Anthony Caravella Sr.; her loving children, Margaret & Luis Aguilar, Joe & Neva Caravella, Vincent Caravella, Phyllis & Kenneth Fenter, Mary & James Shaffer, Anthony Caravella Jr., and Christina Caravella; her loving grandchildren, Anthony, Brittney, Alexandrea, Kyle, Jacob, Brianna, Michela, Sierra, Gabriella, Logan, and Alayna; brothers, Vincent Donze & wife Franca, and Paul Donze; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, September 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 12, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Kansas City, MO 64118. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
