A celebration to honor the lives of Dwaine and Sharon Loomis will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11:00 am at the Della Lamb Community Center, 500 Woodland Ave, Kansas City, MO.

Sharon L. Loomis, 75, passed away on April 4, 2017.  Dwaine C. Loomis, then 75, passed away on December 24, 2013.  Dwaine and Sharon were longtime residents of Northeast Kansas City and devoted many, many years to youth sports in their community.  They are survived by their three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jeannie Loomis, Darrell and Deborah Loomis, and Darrin and Susan Loomis; six grandsons Dustin, Devin (Shandal), Dane (Laura), Daniel, and Dylan Loomis and Stephen Summers (Lauren); one granddaughter Darcy Loomis; and three great-grandchildren Deagen, Dailyn and Daxton Loomis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Della Lamb Youth Services, to honor Dwaine and Sharon for their tireless work to support the youth athletic services provided by the center.
